Order Your Loves - Creating Value Driven Goals

Six years ago I abandoned the practice of creating New Year's resolutions. I found that rigid resolutions left me feeling like a failure when I didn't achieve them perfectly (which I never did).

My focus shifted when I read a passage from St. Augustine that said that most of the disharmony we feel in our lives comes from having our loves out of order. This hit me hard. I realized that creating the life I want is not about checking off boxes or sticking to regimented schedules but identifying what I value and making those things my priority!

Creating value based goals has been a total game changer for me. These goals are focused on how I want to FEEL, instead of what I want to do or (let's be honest) how I want other people to perceive me.
